I'm ashamed to say I'm one of the perpetrators of said spamming. You may have seen that I posted an apology in the cafe section.

But there are members who are posting inappropritate material. This type of spamminig shouldn't be tolerated and I agree 100% with an-225, by introducing mods in different timezones.

Don't worry Spitfire, I'm not pointing the finger at you. Your huge amount of posts is more of...a friendly/somewhat annoying* type of spam. These guys, are spewing forth..."videos" that you DO NOT want to watch.  ;)

Nah Spit, the Spammers were talking a bout are low life pieces of....... who add nothing more to the forum than some new porn for the admin section..

I think this is the result of the new forums I mean we have over 20,000 members most of them males   and it is now very easy to register to this place which makes it attractive for Porn Spammers.

Yes I know in your mind I'm considered a spammer just because my post-per-day count is over 5... but sorry I have an opinion is all i can say

No, I do not consider you a spammer next to these guys. How you could also suggest that I am suggesting this JUST to be a Mod is far-fetched. I am sick of seeing these morons spam the board day by day, and having a mod in another time-zone could keep the site clean 24/7.

The porn peddlers are delt with as soon as they are brought to our attention... and the PM's we get about them are most appreciated. However as quickly as we deal with them .... like terrorists ..... they are replaced. Proxys make IP bans almost completely useless and the only other tools we have are Nickname and email bans ..... once again easy to get round..

Rest assured the situation is being discussed continually down in the dungeon that is the admin forum and any suggestions as to any more effective means of dealing with porn spam will be appreciated.

I am still trying to figure out what they are actually accomplishing?

Mods in diffrent time zones like a few here in the Europe. Whenever I am on almost every week that porn spammer comes back and all I can do is get the links and wait for a admin or mod so I can give them the links. No I aint sucking up to the mods or admins I am doing my part in keeping this place "clean".
