Simviation Forums

I have a question...why is it "illegal" to mention Avsim or Flightsim here on SimV? I just want to know as many members put A****M or something similar...some files are only exclusive to SimV and some are only exclusive to Avsim...If a member wants to share the the fun, IMO he should be able to tell the others that I got so and so add-on(s) from Avsim...If not, then we shouldn't post shots of add-ons from Avsim...Just wanting to know...

Cause I think quite a few memebers use SimV for the forums and use other sites for downloads. To me it only seems right that if a file is avaliable from SimV as well as other websites that people asking on this forum should be pointed here first.

If you look in the screenshot forums you'll see a lot of aircraft avaliable on SimV, AVSIM, nonodes etc and the person who posts the images will only say that it's avaliable from AVSIM or which ever site the got it from.

So basically, mentioning other sites is not banned. But when on the SimV forums promote SimV before the opposition.

Exactly. Our forums were created for our users.  If you don't use the site at all then you should really use the forums of the site you use mainly.

These are the only two i use reguarly. The thing is that some files are only avalible on one of the sites. Oh, well!
