Bandwidth Limit?

Postby RichieB16 » Sat Sep 11, 2004 1:13 am

Hey Pete, have you put a limit on the download speed for large files.  Today, I am downloading the large 225MB "Netherlands 2000" scenery pack (http://www.simviation.com/fs2004scenery20.htm) and am finding that I am only getting a download speed of 40KB/s.  I have never had dls this slow here since I got high speed internet so I was wondering if you had put a limit on files of certain sizes?  (just out of curosity).   ;) ;D

I was actually thinking the same thing.   ;)

The real reason I asked was to make sure that it was the site that was limiting the download and not my internet connection being messed up.  My internet has been acting a little funny lately so I figured I'd ask.

I'm glad it is only on large files, I can still download aircraft at 300kbps unlike nonodes (ALWAYS 2kpbs, and they claim to be the best ::))
