Regarding advertising

I didn't see anything in the forum rules about advertising (or at least I don't think I did, forgive me If I accidentally missed it), so just to make sure I'm asking a question here on Simviations stance towards it.

Basically, I'm just wondering if it would be allowed to post more of a "press release" than advertisement. Just a thread letting people know about a new site. Would that be allowed?

There is a section int he forums where you can post an interesting site or even your site to others.

Also please do not link images to other sites such as your signature. Please upload them to the Simviation server and read the specifications.
