Be gentle with me, I use a computer with two left hands!
So here are my questions.
What is the difference between a picture at the side of a post and the pictures at the bottom of a post?
And, I have a picture that I would like to appear when I post, can someone (in words of one syllable) please, please, please tell me what I have to do.

Matt :P :P

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Okie dokie.
The picture at the side of the post is your Avatar. the picture underneath is your Signature.
To edit these click profile in the blue bar just down from the top of the page.
Upload your picture to simv, the link for the one you want for your Avatar needs to be put in the edit avatar option of your profile, and check the "i have my own box".
The signature picture, needs to be put in the signature box at the bottom of your profile edit page. Use the img tags like you would a normal screenshot.

Thanks Craig,

I would like to put a signature picture in my posts (I have uploaded it, that bit I understood), but having never played with screen shots and "img tags", I am sorry to say I am still a little in the dark.
