Good afternoon,

It is my sad duty to report that Akemi-san has passed on as of October 29th, 2013. :(

His website will remain operational for six months. Because Simviation is a freeware site, arrangements might want to be considered to contact the family for possible preservation of his files.

Thanks for the info!
It would indeed be a GREAT shame to see his creations go with him. Would you know who to contact and how? I suspect they may be Japanese language only ...

This is REALLY SAD NEWS! He did such wonderful things for us flightsimmers in the past, and it was great fun updating his marvellous work for nowadays flightsims.

Akemi-San, I wish you all the best on your last flight. May you forever rest in peace!

Erik Hertzberger (hertzie).

Pete,

This is what the readme states in his aircraft: "Although it is free software, processing re-distribution and aimed at obtaining profit is not accepted."

I downloaded all the aircraft - just in case the site goes down. ( like a few others I think!)

I will look at the readme's and see if it allows redistribution.

At least his work is safe if the site is closed.
