i was just wondering if anyone had any information about the up coming FS2006 any bits of information big or small would be appreciated

Have they announced if there's going to be an FS2006 yet?

Nope. Don't listen to the rumors, there will be another one (M$ would have to be insane to abandon a market they own)

I heard some news :

FS2006 : A century and a bit of flight , will contain SOOOOOO many 'bugs', they are already working on SIX 25mb patches for it
They are :
more bridges
real airports
remotely 'real' looking terrain and landclass
extended altitude capabilities (101,000 now acccessible)
and two others currently 'unconfirmed'

Seriously though, beefhole's right - why would they dump FS with so many of us buying it ?

I'm looking forward to FS10 and hope maybe they'll include at least one military aircraft as standard

In the mean time, X-plane is in stores now for $39.99.  Not FS, but it'll satiate the desire for flying something new for a bit...

It's scheduled to be the P-3 Orion maritime recon/anti-sub replacement.

Tests have already been made using 737-700 airframes and *I believe* metal has started to be cut for the weapons bay, etc.
