Have they announced if there's going to be an FS2006 yet?

Nope. Don't listen to the rumors, there will be another one (M$ would have to be insane to abandon a market they own)

I heard some news :

FS2006 : A century and a bit of flight ;), will contain SOOOOOO many 'bugs', they are already working on SIX 25mb patches for it ;)
They are :
more bridges ;D
real airports ;D
remotely 'real' looking terrain and landclass ;D
extended altitude capabilities (101,000 now acccessible) ;D
and two others currently 'unconfirmed' ;D

Seriously though, beefhole's right - why would they dump FS with so many of us buying it ?

I'm looking forward to FS10 and hope maybe they'll include at least one military aircraft as standard 8)

In the mean time, X-plane is in stores now for $39.99.  Not FS, but it'll satiate the desire for flying something new for a bit...   ;)

The newest X-Plane is amazing. I say it's a little less or equal to FS9

It's scheduled to be the P-3 Orion maritime recon/anti-sub replacement.

Tests have already been made using 737-700 airframes and *I believe* metal has started to be cut for the weapons bay, etc.
