Do you mean the stickies? If so couldn't they be copied and pasted into a new topic and restuck?

We could save all the best ones surely? Or at least the information in them. Maybe that's too complicated.

deploy some volunteer units to look in past times for special thread and tutorials, and mark them to be stickied. everything older than X time can go.

i'd be willing, whaddya guys think, help out the V.

If it's possible Pete, make a thread and we can search out the must keeps for you and copy and paste the links in that thread.

not only that, yes it will take up time, but it should certainly put us under the golden 250K posts.

next idea, you do have a lot of locked posts, either moved, or locked due to a rule breach. we're not replying to those anytime soon. espically the "what are you listening to" series. that would take a chunk out. at least 2500 posts right there.
