Where did the term Post or Posts come from?

Simviation being an aviation related site and an excelent one I might add because of the amount of information and knowledge passing between it's members on aircraft and aviation subjects in general.

I was just wondering why "Post" was not called "Log"
with relationship to aircraft log book or pilots log book?

Please I am not trying to change anything.....just curious thats all.

Yeah, you'll go to bed one night a Gold Member and wake up the next day to find SimV has gone all wonky and you're now a "Valued Member" or worse, a Resident!

What actually happens is that, you get off work one day, next thing you know is that it's the next morning and you're a resident

I think for a while there I was posting almost 50 per day, but I got real burned out real quick and am now down to a mere 5 or 10 per day...

About a year and a half ago when I wasn't working, there was a week or so when I was averaging about a 100 posts a day. Then I got busy and I can't post as much

You have improved a lot since then Andrew. I think you will find that my average reply consists of considerably more than a smiley or 2 words.
