Re: Is there a chance of changing the new method of identifying members by a long string of numbers and letters back to the previous method of identifying them by their original registered name?

Many Members change their Log-in names at times so it is difficult to know who we are actually corresponding with....

(Pointing the Mouse on the Members name reveals them at the bottom of the Browser).

Still working on it.
Every time I have tried to change it the mods names end up being stacked on top of each other so each board is about 10cm thick ... ::)

The wording on some of the options is so wierd that I am guessing it was interpreted into 'english' by a Romanian using freetranslation.com

Well, YaBB was written by german developers. Grin Roll Eyes

Anyway... Admin Center > (Security Center)Security Settings > Encrypt User ID's

Worked for me. That is, it worked with out stacking the mod's names. Huh
