Perhaps we can have a monthly aviation related photo contest in addition to the screen shot contest.   [smiley=happy.gif]

INteresting concept BUT it would HAVE to be limited to user-submitted ORIGINAL photos only - No "see what pretty photo I found on the net"  contest.

I whole heartedly agree.  I guess the only thing you could do would be to accept the user's word on the photo's originality.  Perhaps make it mandatory that the date stamp be included in the photo and the photo taken in the time alloted for the contest? Or, maybe submit the EXIF data along with the photo? I don't know.  What do you think?

Haha!  Airliners.net doesn't like my photos though.  Oh well, I'd be in last place if you did have a photo contest though.  It was just a brain fart.

I had an idea for this too I mean not with prizes or anything, but I guess with any shot or screenshot you have to trust the person ;), but if its not for a prize than nobody will have a reason to cheat :) (I think :-/) ;D

Why don't you set up something informal...maybe ask a few people to submit a pic or two and then poll them.  :) Similar to the mini contests you'd find in the StudioV.  :)

I actually like this idea.  And Clipper made a great suggestion in that we could keep it informal to start and see where it goes.  I am not so great, really, with taking pictures.  But, even if I always lost, I would probably enter anyway for the fun of it.

All the best,
