Well i came up with another cool idea for the forums.

How about we have a monthly jokes contest in the Jokes forum?

People could post their favourite Jokes, and enter them into a contest. The principle would be relatively the same as the standard Screenshot forum, except with jokes, and alot more laughter.

At the end of the month, the mod's or whoever choose a selection of jokes, and you get to vote.

Obviously Rules will apply to make this still a family forum.

What you think? I think it will be quite fun personally, and give the users of the site chance to laugh off those Monday morning blues, competion sytle.

Let me know what you think...moderations..adaptations etc.

Well it would be purely for fun, no prizes, and No BPB in the comp lol.
I was thinking of making themes for each month such as "holidays", "work", "lifestyle"

That way it would be harder to have 2 same jokes in different months, if you understand me.

Maybe they are?  I'd also like to know what they think of the idea.

Here's an idea for the jokes forum. Make the words "been posted before" or any thing along those lines automatically change to "I like pie" or "My, that was a good one" or possibly "I like to where womens under garments on my head". It could work the same as when people type swear words and it comes out as "hog lubrication" and such.

If someone wants to run a competition feel free - only you will have to realise that it will run along side other forums threads so identifying a competition entry in the forum would have to be done by the entrant. Also means that selecting a few for voting may be difficult.

Not something I can see the mods getting involved with .....  :) - we have enough on our plates ....  ;)
