Have you any suggestions for additional forums or improvements?

Is it possible to have a few more tiers Pete on post counts. Seeing as the ones up to the present run on almost double, could I suggest we have one at 1000 and 2500 or whatever?
Would it be that difficult to do? ::)

Generally, the yaBB script limits you to, I believe, 5 levels.  I suppose you ca tinker with the overall script, etc., but in the grand scheme of things, post count on a forum isn't that significant...

If you don't believe that, simply look at Felix's post count and look at mine.  He has less than 800 and I have almost 5000; yet he is much smarter about the FS world than I am and probably contributes more of substance by helping out new designers and new simmers.  :)

Yupthere are about 5 tiers but like the guys have said post count means zit.

I don't really want a forum here where people rate post counts. In reality Felix has a lot more - played with it for a while & left it at its lowest mark (about 5k less than reality) ... but he knows this whole thing & the fact that post counts really do mean nothing other than you are posting messages (such as

:)

Technically, I'm at 6000+the number shown ...

For another example, in the FFDS forum, I started all the FFDS associates with 500 posts....  just so in a quick "per posts" listing, one could see who we are.

Pete could easily grant the mods a "joining bonus" of 10,000 posts to each moderator.  Again, it means not a whole lot.
