Did I get your attention? I hope so because that is the point. A heading like that "sticked"  to the top of each forum subject and a description of what kind of topics are posted there.

(Like this: Welcome to the FS2004 forum. This forum is for topics dealing with FS2004 only. Before you post, take a look at the topics already there and see if your posting deals with FS2004. If you dont think it does, than take a look at our other 46+ forum subjects and find a home for you topic.)

If  I know its in the heading of the subject, but its obvious that many dont see the small print. It is true that some subjects are iffy on the forum but I think a post in the forum itself might help bring the "mispostings" down some. Its not a perfect and you will still get those who just cant and wont read posting in the wrong forum.

I'll try to remember - though the offenders probably won't read that either! (me being cynical...)

Good idea - I may adopt it in the FFDS forum as well....


No matter how "sticky" you make the "read this first" threads, you'll still get posters (and I presume they're well intentioned) that will post out of topic, or "policy-contrary".


But a catchy title - "READ THIS OR DIE!"  should definitely catch the eye of the unwary first timer....

It got my attention...AGREE with you 100%.
