What I do from time to time, is to File->Save As and it saves as a complete html file, just like online, with images etc.

Then, I clean out the inbox.

I can then, at leisure, delete the postings I really don't need.

I've used this method for years. Open your PM Inbox & click File/Save As on your browser menu bar. Save it under a specific file name in HTML format. (Something like PM Inbox1 or whatever you wish.) Then empty your Inbox. Do the same with the Outbox. You can then read your old PMs offline whenever you wish. You can do the same with any webpage or forum topic.

0, But I empty my inbox after I accumalate a couple dozen or so messages. Anymore and I wait too long for it to load ;)

Otherwise I would have a few hundred messages, and it would take forever to load ::)

At 470 messages it was taking 2 minutes for it too laod with me. UNfortunately I didn't know of any other way than loosing them forever - and that would never happen. I always deleted by outbox though. Never bothered about keeping what I send.

I delete the contents of mine annually. I don't get many PM's so I don't really need to do it any more often.

Get into the habit of keeping copies of anything you put in writing. You never know when it might come in useful. ::) ;)
