Hi,

I'm a used to downloading sim objects from Simviation site (Aircrafts, sceneries). I've never experiment difficulties to do this except for the last two weeks.

Since then, impossible to download anything from Simviation. When I ask for downloading something the following message appears immediatly: "impossible de témécharger ce produit de manière sécurisée. Supprimer ou poursuivre"

I tried to disable my fire wall and, even so my antivirus, but nothing to do.
When I click on "poursuivre", a new message appears; annuler ou télécharger quand même"... I click on the second option. So the downloading seems to be going normally. However, at the end, the downloaded object does not find anywhere on my PC, even so in "téléchargements"

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this issue?

Maybe try another web browser?
I'm using Edge, never a problem at all.

Sorry to hear your problem. However all is normal and downloads are working alright.

As has been suggested please try another browser (Internet Explorer/Firefox/Chrome/edge).

I would also suggest giving your system a quick clean with cCleaner to remove old cache files etc which can cause issues such as this.

ive been having trouble too, and so has a freind, he,s on firefox and im on chrome.. its not just this site either, there are a few other free sites with same problem..

Very odd, I'm here in Cape Town, South Africa, using Edge in Windows 10, no issues with any site at all.

well ive totaly emptied my cache files and still same problem..
message says ( zip cant be downloaded securely) in red letters then in square box it says discard ??

Unfortunately these features can block perfectly good files. All files uploaded to Simviation are checked for problems before being uploaded & are perfectly safe.

I've just tried downloading a file on Chrome with the same result.


However, there is a way round it.
If you click the up arrow on the message & select the Keep option the file will be downloaded.





I use the Opera browser & never had a problem downloading files from any website. https://www.opera.com

Just tried Chrome and as Hagar says it seems to be a Chrome problem. It would appear Google are again trying to control a little too much for our own good?

NONE of the reasons in that link to Google apply to simviation or our files. The only ads on the site are Google ads. Invite any scan or test and the site and files are 100% clean.

Thankfully there are alternatives. Hagar recommended his preference and I use Firefox without any issues. Others have recommended Edge.

Meanwhile I'll try to resolve the Google chrome issue. It will certainly be a false alarm and an easy fix.

my freind uses firefox too but he has had the same problem trying to dowload from this site only.. ??
also im NOT saying its this or any other sites problem, it makes more sence that it would be chrome,s fault that this is happening, maybe time to change to a new brouser for me then

I ran into this problem myself. If you click on keep it will allow you to download the file

yes thanks , ive done the keep it and it does download, all be it much slower than usual.. many thanks everyone ..

Just info for spanish speakers, click "guardar" and downloads the files.

Please try it now.
