Cannot Download (Paid Member)

Postby CXDriver227 » Sun Aug 05, 2018 9:58 am

For the past week whenever I try to download a file the connection times out. I have tried different browsers (Chrome & MS Edge) and different computers with no joy.

My membership is up for renewal next week. If I can't fix this I will not be renewing. Any ideas?

Forgot to mention, I have tried several different files, so it's not a question of one broken link...

You might try to increase your open time on your control panel. You computer is probably timing out on you. Increase your time before your computer times out and see if that helps. Roy

Hi Sorry only just read this.

When you login do you see the normal member's page - i.e. no ads and 'Member's area'?

If so - then you are logging in ok. The problem is not general and the site is fine.
Can you tell me what exactly happens when you click on a file?

I have just taken a screenshot of a download when logged in -- the download starts almost instantly and I am on a basic copper telephone connection.

All is well now. Seems my son in-law changed some of my router settings to accommodate his gaming site. I had noticed very slow internet connections at other sites also. I reset my router/modem and all is working again.

Thank you all for your time.
