IWM Duxford: why expose an unpainted aircraft?

Postby Jean Loup » Thu Nov 19, 2015 5:16 pm

It's amazing (& FREE!) but I runned into this "strange tiny glitch": what british contraption is this jet aircraft? in front of my Pawnee, left side on this photo. Looks like an AI mising texture :snooty: :

Top View with shadow, still no color nor markings  :

Some kids gathered to see & take pics, I notice another strange thing: exhaust cover has color!

I found a video with this scenery, at 0:35 it shows this aircraft with black color on the wheels, white points on extra fuel tanks at wingtips & has intake covers in dark red, like the one in my FS2004 Silver Wings version:

So that means it is not a missing AI aircraft skin... I went to Airfield Construction Group to ask Why expose an unpainted aircraft & what type is it? AND I went into another "strange tiny glitch": REGiSTRATiON!! All was OK, but the Email for opening my account & enter the forum, iS LOST iN SPACE :violin: so I am awaiting NEWMAN (Seinfield's Newman!) to deliver my evasive Mail. The ONLY HELP I get here in México, will make me forget the whole issue:

Can some one here enlight my ignorance on this matter? (of the aircraft no color thing, not the register!) GRACiAS <<q

POST DATA: UPS!! I forgot a link to this fantastic environment: http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1 ... &x=24&y=13
