No Contents in Zip File

Postby RobTey » Mon Jun 03, 2013 11:33 pm

Hello,
Trying to obtain the file "Visual Navigation for Flight Simulation: Compass, Clock and Chart Part 2 (Category: FS Navigation > Flight Simulator Navigation)". The Zip file downloads ok, but it only contains the 'boilerplate' text file called vfrcharts_secPDF_ReadMe.txt. There is no actual PDF file with Part 2 of the Tutorial. All the other parts of the tutorial downloaded without a problem.

Can you please fix this, or put me in touch with the author, Sean Morrissey? I'm really looking forward to using the tutorial!

Many thanks.

Downloaded it myself just today... no problems. I double-checked all of these uploads way back when I submitted them; they should all be good.
But if anyone else has a similar problem, let me know.

Hi beaky,
Thanks for checking, and for the quick response.
I had tried downloading 3 times before, and I just tried again - same result.

I then had a brainstorm - I tried turning on "View Hidden Files & Folders" on my computer and voila, there they were. For some reason, the Properties > "Hidden" attribute was checked on both of these PDF files, but not on any of the others in the tutorial. All is good now.

BTW, I should have mentioned that the 'hidden' file attribute being checked is not something that I did; the files arrived that way.
As a suggestion, site admin might want to consider unchecking this attribute and then re-posting these two files... would avoid others having similar problems.

Many Thanks,
