Assuming you do reboot please tell us exactly what happens?
Are you running any download software? Sometimes that will make multiple connections to a file - so needs to be turned off.

Posted: Tue Dec 21, 2010 3:52 amGiven that files are successfully downloaded 10's 1000's of times every day by users at this site it it not a problem that pertains to this site - it is most likely a problem in how your PC connects to files here.
It could be that your firewall is blocking the links on the new site.

Posted: Thu Dec 23, 2010 7:19 pmI normally am able to DL two files at a time. Today it has been limiting me to just one most of the time. A few times I have been able to get two going at once, but right now it's just one. I get the same error.

I'm Carl and new in the forum. I habe the same problem. It's not possible to download any files. I deletet all cookies, all temp-files etc. The last download I made was on 27.12. Seychelles Part 8. May there is anybody to help. Thank you very mutch. Carl

If you were able to download on 27th December with the same PC - then something in your system is preventing connection.
1st try a simple reboot - the most common cure
Other than that try to be specific about exactly what happens - does it occur with all browsers for instance?
