Which zip program are you using?

I had no problems with WinRar & Izarc.  ;)

Try one of those & let us know.  :)

I've run into this problem very occasionally. Probably less than 5 files out of literally thousands I've checked out over the years. I put it down to the utility the author used to zip it up.

I'm downloading the file now to check it out. Will report back later. ;)

..legs crossed, Doug...

Normally I "install" files to my Desktop if possible, and then drag them from there to my correct FS 2004 Folders...

...but this one insists on installing to......"somewhere"... :o...!

Paul... ;)...!

As reported, the Windows compressed folders utility & WinZip7 told me the file is corrupt. Both ALZip & WinRAR had no problems with it. That's when the fun started.

I ended up with an incomplete version of the Trislander with the wrong textures & no Panel folder. I ran the included EXE file to see what happened. A window opened telling me it had been installed but I have no idea where it went. ::)

Sorry Paul. I hate admitting it but this one has beaten me. :-[

This file requires that you have the base BN-2N package installed, and the installer adds this package to the base pack, much like the PMDG installers do.

Just to add my 2% of a dollar, if I may.

Corrupted downloads can sometimes be attributed to a user having not cleaned out their browser cache for a while.

I recommend a program called CCleaner for this. Does a good job, in my opinion.

regards,
Joe

Thanks and sorry for the trouble. This file gave me no reason to check it out as it looked fine. I have now modified the file and linked to the required base file.

Thanks Shane for deciphering this! :)

(BTW -- Izarc seems to unzip anything without problem. It's the best zip utility I have found -- & I've tried 10's)
