Font size

Postby expat » Wed Sep 09, 2009 2:07 am

The long and the short is my font size when writing a post has become very small. Once I have posted it, it is the normal size. Although it will not be displayed as such, it would appear that I am writing in font 6 or 8. At this size I need glasses to read it :-[ I have put a screen shot below. Just as an example I have used the next thread down. Any ideas please.

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

This might depend on your browser. I use Firefox & haven't noticed any difference in the font size in this box since the forum was upgraded.

Not sure if it will help but there is a Zoom option from View on the FF menu bar. Other browsers should have a similar option.

PS. The font style you're using displays a lot smaller than the default Arial on my browser. This makes it very difficult to read. See shot below.

Thanks Hagar, I am also using FireFox and the "text only zoom" has helped a little bit, but it is still not perfect. I think that this coincided with the forum update, but I am not sure. Anyway, at least I can now read this without glasses again!

If you look right under the textbox you'll see the "Text size" control.

Image

Just set that to 10pt and you should be good.

That is of course the solution. Another little mystery solved. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

For that solution, he needs to select a larger font '[size=]' for us.
