I keep getting an "incorrect password" error when trying to login; however, my password works just fine to login to update my account @ simviation.com.

Hi - Sorry you seem to have a problem, .. however if you can log in you can log in .. there is no difference.

(Please note that the forums are different to the Express Member area as they are open to all and require a separate registration.)

Can you please be specific about just exactly where you are having a problem loggin in and what message you are getting? Thanks

when i go to http://www.simviation.com, I click the "express member login" link.

I enter my username and password.

It goes to the following screen as usual, but instead of the "latest files" window loading, that section contains another login screen. And then a dialog box pops up saying that my username or password is incorrect.

In the window where 'latest files' normally is, there is a login section for updating your account. If I type my username and password there, it brings up all my info as usual. When I attempt to return to the home page of simviation, that same username/password error comes back up.

Hi ,

It sounds like you are using the wrong log in details and just can't log in.

I have checked our records against the email you use on these forums and we have no member with that email.

If you can contact me with your name and any other email you may have used (support@simviation.com) I can look into this further.

Thanks  :)

Pete,

I was in the process of sending you an e-mail with all my details when I decided to perform a test;

I attempted a login w/ IE8 and it worked perfectly.

The browser I'm having trouble with is Safari 4.

I had been using the beta vr.4 with no problems, but it updated to the finished non-beta version a couple of days ago, so we should be certain the problem is with apple safari 4, or a setting on my computer that affects safari 4.
