I've not used Download Express but we've had no problems here at SimV. Can you give us some more information?

I think Download Express is kinda like a Download manager...If you're trying to get your downloads to get faster than 30KBPS, it won't work...I'm pretty happy with 30KBPS...Very generous and fine enough for me ;)

I believe Pete's answer to Rafair100 might be the solution. Download xpress does access multiple file transfer points and as of a couple of days ago, it would hang after accessing one or two points and d/l'ing portions of the file, requiring a pause and resume action. Prior to that it has worked fine. Any changes (besides the visual) made to your site recently? By the way, my old i.d. no longer worked and I was forced to re-join with new user name. (I was just plain dodger before)

OK, I just did a comparison on the same file, and sure enough everything is back to normal.  No problems using Download Exp. or just plain Firefox. Got better than 30KBPS on both, which is fine for me. Temporary glitch? I did notice that there was a "Site maintenance in  progress" note the other day when I had the problems.
