this should have been reported to Pete not posted here.
I wouldn't be talking about anything if i were this guy. Clearly he doesn't have an understanding of the english language.

If admin want to take action that is for them to decide. Whether I should have posted it could also be open to debate, but the fact remains that this guy should not be here and I would like others to be aware of this. As for which forum, maybe he should have posted it to the ebay converstaion himself, but it is linked to a thread in this forum.
Anyway, admin can read and decide if the whole post should or should not be removed, or moved. In any case you now now that we have a person who we should watch out for.

First off ex-pat,
please don't post such a thing! We don't need to have language like that on these forums.
Actually, that was posted in the original eBay thread. Somebody calling themself, "aviationaddict" posted that exact thing.
It was immediately removed from the thread as I was watching it.
Let dead dogs lie :P

Yea, you've all got points here, maybe this so-called "aviationaddict" wasn't quite the addict he claims to be......
probably some fool who's jealous of those people who CAN make aircraft.....
Is he a member of SimV?

Hi Dave, point taken
I did not see that it had been posted in the ebay thread. Just wanted to know if it had been sent to all that had posted in the thread, or just me. Sorry I did not want to upset anyone. I just spread the word so to say.

Can't say I'm surprised. Like I said at the time, we've seen it all before and there's a word for it that begins with T and ends with L
What always amazes me is how indulgent people are round here, even when newcomers are obviously bad-mouthing us and the things we stand for and taking us for fools.
Mind you, if it was any different it wouldn't be the place it is I guess so best we don't change it too much.
I would suggest however that the mods begin to act a bit sooner. Different if it's an old hand but we're seeing this a bit too often lately. There's nothing to lose if it's a newcomer who's pouring crap into the forums. Shut him up, tell him the rules in private and if he's serious he'll stay. If he's not, well good riddance and it's a job well done. That's what I think anyway. We're not providing a public service here for every nutcase on the Net to come and make fools of us and the simple pleasures we enjoy.

All I can say is that he obviously doesn't understand the point of freeware- It's made by people who like to make it, and given out free for others to enjoy. Simple.

it seems to me that the only way this individual could trace you to that thread is if someone making a complaint about his activities mentioned the Simviation forum to him. Not only that but they would have to point him to the exact thread so he knew who took part in it. If something like this happens again & you wish to complain it might be sensible to keep Simviation out of it. Pete has enough trouble with hackers as it is.
