Authentication for downloads?

 On page 3 of 2k4 Vintage, I came across an unexpected little problem, Authentication. I have downloaded a number of Tony Goulds texture mods with ease, there have also been a few complete aircraft, I even downloaded new effects for the DC3 not more then 15minutes ago on the same page. The aircraft is a Spitefire MkII.  Could anyone please explain the restrictions?

Fido. I suspect this is a dead link. No authentication is necessary to download any file from this site. If you have problems downloading a specific file report it on the "Site Problems & Broken Links" board on this forum.

Fido its sorted There were a few small problems earlier, but I've got her and I'm off for some serious hedge hopping

Ozzy   I too just downloaded her and hope to be flying some time this evening after work. I hope she flies a well as she looks.  What am I saying, she's a Spit for god sake, of course she will fly great,  R.J. Mitchell wouldn't have it anyother way.
