IFDG A319 Airbus problems

Postby Jamie » Sat Nov 12, 2011 9:15 am

Hi ,

I have slow dial-up , but was still able to get this huge 51.6MB file from Simviation after 6 hrs. of downloading . I thought it was a complete package and appeared to be so with model -panel -sound -texture-air , etc.
Worked about 3 hrs. attempting to get it to work , but was never successful at getting the panel . I think I did all that was indicated and realized the panel cfg was aliased to a panel in FSCONV , but had none to put there . It was indicated that there was a panel zip , but I saw no separate panel zip . Finally gave up , but have installed hundreds of planes and panels . I love Milton Shupe's simple no hassle install and wish this had the same . Was anxious to fly this one . I hate to have a contact address listed for help which is no longer valid .  May have misread that this was a complete package ? File was under Civil Jets ( Airbus ) page 5 .

Thanks ,
Jamie

Hi Jamie. I'm assuming this is for FS9. I can't find an IFDG Airbus on Page 5. Are you sure you got it from SimV?

This one fits your description. http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=SASA319AirbusIFDGUpdate-1.zip&categoryId=&filename=Y

I downloaded the file to check it out & a full panel is included. Also a folder named fsfsconv containing the sound which should be installed to FS2004\Aircraft.

Edit: OK, I see the problem. The Panel folder contains the wrong Panel.cfg file.

PS. Check your email.
