Site Down?

Postby Scottler » Wed Jun 18, 2003 8:13 pm

I know this isn't the correct forum for this, but this gets the most visits I think.  Forgive me!

Is anyone else having a hard time getting into Simviation tonight?  After the title page, it goes to a blank white page.  It could be me though..stranger things have happened.
Great edit, Bob.

It happened to me for a while earlier.  I thought it was my McAfee update.

Same here, I just bypass the blank white screen, and come directly to the forums, then oyu can do whatever.
Hoping it just wasn't me!   Horra!

I bypassed the Simviation menu page too but I've been getting similar problems with the forum messages. I get the Simviation banner and menu but where the message should be is just blue background and my browser says it's done loading the page. I have to hit Refresh three or four times to get it to finally load the message.

So many of these problems are caused by ads. If an ad has a problem the page will often wait until the ad has loaded & the ads come from other hosts.

& yes - I had the same problem - though had to wait no more than about 20 secs for the page to come up.

Phew, I thought it was me as well.  LOL  Thanks guys.  It's back to normal now, but it seems to be loading faster.  (My work computer is crap.)  So whatever it was, it was a definite move in the right direction.  I also was bypassing it for a while.  Thanks!

So was I. I've fiddled & turned nobs & hit the machine with the side of a boot  (hense the term 're-boot') & it seems better.

Can anyone confirm?

the main page shows up fine for me and the forums work, but the download pages just load the C-17/P-51 background and stop ???
