Enjoying military planes in flight sim doesn't mean anyone is "pro war". Note that I said flight sim, not combat sim. Like FSX that you mentioned, which has always been regarded as a flight simulator, not a combat simulator program. And where else do you find aircraft with the highest performance, best maneuvering, most advanced tech? Military planes, of course. Personally, I enjoy flying military transport missions, "trash hauling", big aircraft like the C-133, C-141, and C-17. None of those planes ever dropped a bomb or fired anything in anger. There's nothing wrong with flying military planes in simulation ... no requirement to "blow up things real good".
