And, oh yes, complex approach to a 10,000 ft high airport in a MD-11. Done with typical Germanic and Gerwomanic precision.

Did you see the pilot's expression on touchdown? Must have been quite a hard landing. I've been in many very hard landings but that's what these passenger jets are built for.

The trouble is, I have so much fun hopping from one grassy air strip to the next during my daily explorations in my little Cessna, Microlight, Gyrocopter, etc, aircraft, that I quite forget how much fun/educational it is to use my Bendix-King radios to keep in contact with ATC during the whole flight (Flight Following)!

ATC get very annoyed with me!... ...!

I must wheel my trusty Beech Baron 58 out again and practice my acquired Radio navigation skills again!.... ...!

If I had to fly as her Captain, All of my landings would be............Hard!


All kidding aside, she really is an intelligent and professional Pilot. But , on the "lay-over" she proved to be very charming and sweet. Thats my kind of woman, Smart and Sweet, my Wife is like that, and I love it.
