Hi Dave,
Interesting to see that again, I've got the whole series on dare I say it - VHS tape and of all the time I was in Lincolnshire, mainly near Cranwell I don't recall seeing an EE Lightning.
regards
Steve

I used to see Lightnings and Vulcans quite often when I was growing up. Used to see a variety of aircraft A10's, Tornados and Provosts recently a couple of F15's, Chinook, V22 and some Apaches, Lancaster and Spitfires and Hurricane and the Eurofighter, Red Arrows and a Airco Dh2. When summer gets here I want to take the bike out to watch aircraft at the mach loop Wales and try and book somewhere for next years I.O.M TT.

A most awesome spectacle is seeing a pair of Lightnings doing a rotational take off.

Sorry Dave, I took that during a break in the monsoon. I scanned it from my album. During those days taking pictures was frowned on, though I've seen some good ones since.
