I think that the whale was just using the kayak as scratching post.

If it catches on with the whales, watching whales & kayaks could be MUCH more exciting.

I was wondering about this video. Shouldn't it be in the Stupid People thread? "Hey let's go out in our trendy little Yuppie canoes and bother the whales and generally get in their way. Then we can tell everybody what great PETA members we are and how much we care about the environment and all that c*ap as we drink our designer water out of plastic bottles we bought at the organic food store.
