Trouble Brewing for Flight Simmers / Flight Sim Community ???????

Just now getting wind of this bit of news,,, doesn't really surprise me tho.

Also really interested in some of your "Opinions" too ?????

So, to get you started,,, apparently Mastertronics who is like the top dog for Just Flight and accepts the payments for software/ hardware and Aircraft for JF , apparently has about went belly up ! Bankrupt ?????

I don't religiously follow Mr. Froogle Sim,, but , Froogle does have some interesting News concerning flight simming often enough.

So heres whats happening and what has happened and who knows whats really going to happen in the very near future now ?????

This may get interesting ????

See Video listen carefully

Never heard of the guy nor the event he's talking about.

Sounds a bit like an event where people take themselves and this FS hobby a little too seriously.

He's right that the FS world is slowly sinking due mostly to the slow moving away from home PC's to tablets and other devices - which is primarily why MS dropped the FS evolution.

However there are still millions of PC's out there and that are going nowhere. Personally I get backache using even a laptop - let alone a tablet! It's a slow sink. & may be revived of course by another realistic flight sim -- probably will happen! But that will only work if it can be open and users can freely add to it. Otherwise try and drop.

And still we have FSX and FS2004 (& P3D) where there remains almost unlimited scope for development and improvement -- & of course fun and learning.

..... & freeware remains king of the skies judging by download numbers -- by miles. O0

A blast from the past!....

Mastertronic:

I remember 'Mastertronic' from my old Sinclair Spectrum 48k days....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mastertronic

Computer games, etc, on 1/4 inch audio tape.

Still got loads of them in my spare bedroom...all ready to play!
