A superb 'The Royal Tenenbaums' parody

For those who have never heard of nor seen this film, The Royal Tenenbaums shows the degradation of a rich family that is separated through divorce, deceit and lack of contact with their kin. Though that sounds dark and gloomy, the film remains entertaining throughout and is something that I believe we can all relate to.

One of the songs performed for the movie is called Needle in the Hay by Elliott Smith. I had forgotten about this fellow for a while until my sister sent me a different song by him. I then went and found this video. It is a parody using Kermit the Frog (albeit a depressed version) to relive the moments in the film.... So it does contain a few spoilers, and the related videos link to the real version from the film.

Either way, the film is definately worth a watch. This song is simply stunning, but a superb artist. The video probably makes a bit more sense to those who have seen the film beforehand, but it keeps the general mood that The Royal Tenenbaums leads up to.

Sad Kermit - Needle in the Hay

Unfortunately, Elliott Smith did die 8 years ago, but I think he's absolutely brilliant to listen to.

Enjoy.

Pretty cool.  ;) It's a bit depressing when I see a frog play the strings better than I can.  8-)
