Video copyrights

Postby Steve M » Sun Mar 14, 2010 6:47 pm

Not  sure where to put this, but it's about video. We rented the BBC cd of Roy Clarks "Keeping up appearances". I have three video programs on my PC. None of them will play the cd because of copyright protection! When I plug my dvd player into my TV tuner on the PC I can not only play the dvd, but if I wanted to I could record it and send it anywhere I want to. Even burn it to my own CD. Whats the point of all this copyright blockage if it doesn't work? All I wanted to do was watch it on a better screen with better sound.  ::) I got to go now.. Hyacinth is trying to get rid of Onslo and Daisy.  ;D

Remember... Pirates get the better movie experience. Whilst you sit through hours of trailers they simply pop in the DVD and skip right to the action.

It has never been fair for those who do it the right and legal way, but we still have to do it.  ::)

Oh no, I'm not saying you are pirating, I'm merely going over some of the difficulties that paying customers have to go through when it should be much simpler. In your case, being blocked from watching it at all.
