1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Great job, most times fighter pilots have no choice but to eject.

Great job, most times fighter pilots have no choice but to eject.

I saw an A-4 pilot eject AFTER he touched down. There were circumstances, but still.

...a good example of why my typical low-altitude, 800'-1000' AGL GA Piston Prop, Sim flights are not a good idea, and could turn into a disaster when a problem suddenly rears its ugly head without warning, surrounded by unsuitable terrain below!... :o...!

High altitude gives more time to figure out a suitable landing area...(I must keep reminding myself...;)...)!
