I think it's supposed to be wet dirt....but you have a point with how it's presented.

....LOL... ;D...!

Every time I see that advert on our Television, I shudder each time that bare foot steps in that.......whatever... :o...!

It brings back memories of what I accidentally step in when I am outside, walking round Town... :-[...!

...at least, I am wearing my shoes at the time!... ::)...!

Paul.... ;D...!

Surely, the Film Producer/Director must have thought what I am thinking, at the time of making the film!.... :o... ;D...!

This is the first time I've seen it but I think that's the whole point of the ad. Visit nice clean, sunny Australia & get away from dreary old Britain with all the muck & dog poop.

Anyway Paul, you're always telling us you don't have a TV. I don't believe a word of it. :P

Television?... ::)...!

My dear neighbour always reminds me when CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) is on Channel 5, and invites me round to watch...

...its then that I observe the Australian Tourist board inviting me to visit Australia, in the pouring rain, and step in some liquid Dog Poop...

(They say its red Australian earth...but I still reckon its Dog Poop!)... ;D...!

Paul.... ;D...!

...only a Month to go, for my Free TV Licence... [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]...!

...when we reach the glorious age of 75 years. our generous Government allow us to watch Television for "Free", without having to pay yearly for a very expensive Television Licence...!

Paul...G-BPLF...one Month to go for "Free TV"!... [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]...!

...and Maz....that "Wet Sand" still looks like wet Dog Poo to me...;)...!

.... ;D...!

In contrast, over here many people gladly pay large sums of money for television many others of us get for free. :D

...the nice thing about we English, in England...is that we have a sense of Humour... ;)... ;)... ;)...!

..which is apparent from the use of "Smilies" in our posts... ;D...!

Just because you are putting smilies in your posts does not make them any less offensive. Its like calling someone an idiot with a grin on your face. Its just not nice. Don't do it.

You say we have dog crap, even after hagar pointed out with a bit more of a critical eye than you and maz with what it actually was what the ad was actually trying to say, hidden messages, different interpretations, etc. You still argue the fact that we have dog cr*p.

Now i don't mind making a little fun at my country's expense BUT what you are doing is just blatantly insulting us. Instead of this why don't you just enjoy jokes that are made by people who are actually funny.
eg.

If we just sent all our convicts to a place that was uninhabitable and turned up 50 years later and acted all cool like nothing happened what do you think they would say?

Something along the lines of g'day mate.

;D ;D

See there is a joke that is actually funny.

Sense of humour.

Goodbye.

I must apologise if I have upset your sensitive side with my Posts, which was intended to introduce a spot of innocent Humour into every-day life on the Forum...
...as we do, and have done, from day to day, in Simviation, over the years....;)..!

Some of my married Grand-Children have moved to Australia and are gradually getting used to the Country...

....and Folks...;)...!

Many of my daily Flight Sim Tours take place in Australia and Tasmania courtesy of FS '98/FS 2000/FS 2002/FS 2004 and "VOZ", which is highly interesting, both historically and geographically... ;)...!

So there you go...

If I have upset you, (and your fellow Australians and ex-English citizens), I am very sorry...
