Okay, I train-chase along my local line of tracks, but  I don't do anything like this:

All I do is track the trains visually and by reading the signals, get ahead of them on there way, and intercept at a few grade crossings. That makes my version of chasing look like a stroll on the park. It does get a little intense sometimes though, especially since I can't drive yet, and I need to tell my mom where to go and how fast.

:D

Sounds like you have a supportive mom, chasing trains for you like that.  Very cool of her.  Do you spot? If so, wouldn't mind seeing some of your shots, I generally check www.railpictures.net every day, some fine photography at that sight.

Uhhh. I wish I had had a video camera on the dashboard and a camera in my hand the other day. I was chasing. Got one at the crossing circled in red, chased it over to the other crossing (green), and saw the whole thing again, then got another train minutes later at the same crossing. I need to carry a camera with me. The blue is a bridge over the tracks by the way.

Single track from red t blue, double tracks from blue to green, single and then double agian past there.

I would have had a 4th (3rd train, 4th what do you want to call it, intercept) one if I didn't have somewhere I had to be
