Actually, that video was not a crash test, it was a test designed to see which fuel tanks ruptured first/worst so that a company could try to develop a method for stopping fuel leaks in a crash (hence the coloured water ;))
They filled each tank with a different colour dye, and observed the results. I believe the connie was testing KEVLAR liners. As you can see they didn't work too well ;D
