Touching...but unnecessary.  Just my opinion, but I would be annoyed if there was a 5 minute ford commercial during a TV show like this.  It's like a public service announcement sponsored by ford.

Im sure the mustang made him feel much better after dodging IED's and loosing his buddies.  I agree with Jayhawk  also Im not a big fan of this emotional advertising. Its actually in poor taste in my opinion, trying to sell cars this way.

Me, too... I was being a bit facetious.
The new GT is pretty slammin' and handles much better, I'm sure, than the old one.
But it would have been more meaningful a gesture if he passed on the old car to his son... it would also have more to do with selling Fords, and less to do with "patriotic consumption", or whatever one might call  it.  ::)

Awsome Video.  My dad has a Mustang Mach 1 (1971 model year), its cool.  I wanted a new one but like many thought it uncomparible to an older model.  My solution was giving it to Mr. Jack Roush.  They fixed it up for me!  (For those who aren't on the ball, Roush Fenway Racing is a big NASCAR team)

"Coke Cola, the true taste of Iraqi Freedom" and then fades to black.

English version. Two Brits holding black and white cans, clink their cans together. Looking at the dead insurgent one says to the other, "I bet he doesn't drink Carling Black Label".

It might be just me, but I find the idea of utilising the emotional connections to soldiers fighting overseas for these purposes inappropriate.
