New HBO series on Mighty Eighth Air Force.

Hey All,

First I've heard of this!

Steven Spielberg & Tom Hanks are working with HBO/Playtone on a 10 part series based on the Mighty Eighth Air Force's B-17 european operations.

I loved the epic Band of Brothers series, The Pacific less so, though it had it's merits! Hopefully this will be a good watch too!
Although no news on when it's supposed to be aired, looks like a big job!
