Not sure where to put this, but it's about video. We rented the BBC cd of Roy Clarks "Keeping up appearances". I have three video programs on my PC. None of them will play the cd because of copyright protection! When I plug my dvd player into my TV tuner on the PC I can not only play the dvd, but if I wanted to I could record it and send it anywhere I want to. Even burn it to my own CD. Whats the point of all this copyright blockage if it doesn't work? All I wanted to do was watch it on a better screen with better sound.

I got to go now.. Hyacinth is trying to get rid of Onslo and Daisy.
