A bit rusty having not flown the DCS A10C in over a year, recently installed original version from DVD not updated yet to get back into the swing of things it started off so well.

It's 'Photo Shoped' and not real. Don't know if you noticed but your canopy is riddled with bullet holes. And the 'flames' look really phoney. I don't buy it (crash landing).

I enthusiastically embraced the world of DCS and the A-10 only to find that it was impossible to do anything other than get shot down very quickly. Hopeless! i could hit the odd bit of enemy armour but trying to fly the aircraft and operate the targetting system was beyond the possible, before unseen enemy destroyed me and my wingman, who was never interested in joining the fight anyway!
The Su-25 was no better, again trying to operate the targetting system and fly an absolute lead-sled of an aeroplane which rapidly ran out of fuel led me to giving up on combat sims until further notice.

Thanks for the replies, the aircraft was intact when I landed apart from a few bullet holes in the canopy and fuselage until the left main gear collapsed and the wingtip dug into the ground resulting in a cartwheel and the loss of the tail and wing and two bigger holes in the canopy.
