Is anyone else finding it unplayable due to lag? The sounds are always crackling in my ear and the game freezes every time you move the mouse.

Shouldn't be the computer - It has no issues playing Half Life 2 or the expansions, and it can play Crysis on high settings. It's weird, but I physically can't play it any more. I managed to get the HEV suit, but I cannot bear the lag!

Programmed in Sinclair BASIC?... ::)...!

It certainly wouldn't work on my hardware, then!... :o...!

There shouldn't be any issues with it running on your computer, I think it's just teething problems due to it being a mod and not having the same quality control as actual Valve software. That said, being a Source operated game, I don't see why it doesn't perform in exactly the same way.

Maybe 64 bit problems of some description? Most people seem to be getting on just fine with it.

Meanwhile, I'll just sit back and fight off head crabs in HL2
