Red Dead Redemption

Two words: Get it!

One of the most fun games I have ever played. Think GTA, without the annoying stuff, set in the wild west. The story is engaging, the characters, especially the hero, well acted and well written, and the gameplay fun. Also, it's set in 1911, so you can still get relatively modern weapons, like semiautomatic pistols and shotguns. Watch out for those larger animals, 'cause they will kill your horse very fast. I learned the hard way. :D

No I have it on the 360, can't take shots. Looks beautiful though. Also, it has a truly open world. If you can see it, you can go to it.

Do you get telegrams from your cousin asking if you want to go train robbing?  ;D

It does look quite good. I may think about getting it over the summer  :)

:o :o OMG!  He got an achievement for leaving a nun on the tracks!! That's just sooo wrong on sooo many levels.

Looks fantastic and seems to play as good as it looks.  Gotta get this one myself but I'll have to wait until the PC version comes out.  I'll add it to my Xmas list!

Alex.

It doesn't have to be a nun, it can be any woman. Sometimes a woman will act like she needs help, and will try to rob you, so there is a good excuse to get the achievement. :-X

Everywhere is sold out so I've bought it from Play.com - More expensive but atleast they had it in stock to sell

Hopefully it will arrive on Friday and be a glorious end to these two weeks of exams.

Rumors have it yes.
But don't get ur hopes up...
I hope it is.

I loved Red Dead Revolver, despite the fact every time I played it my game file got corrupted so I had to keep using cheats to get to the point I was.

Well any day soon Play.com should be shipping my copy for the Xbox 360 - It has been under the 'packing' status for a few days now. (I reckon they don't actually have the game, I did buy the limited edition one).

Sadly, I'm a lone ranger
