Lets Glide!

You may or may not know but X-Plane does not come with a winter texture set...I found this set at x-plane.org. Also many people complain that XP is too dark, I found a nice sky and cloud upgrade also at x-plane.org, additionally I edited the overcast and fog skylines to get rid of that dull grey and added a faint blue for overcast and a slight yellow for fog...well anyway here is me relaxing enjoying the scenery..............Take notice how the programmers decided to render the tree line in the third shot :o & Im getting these kind of screenies in Linux and without photoreal scenery....Im hooked ;D

the treeline is very clever and those ground textures look :o


the horizon looks much better you did a great job

Is the ATC any better than MFS in Xplane?

The ATC uses a computer generated voice, not very realistic  :P and there is no AI traffic or flight planner :P although you can get a flight planner called Goodway...

I honestly havent played with the ATC much, been busy playing with the rendering options and just flying VFR ;)
