Playing with Flight Gear

Im waiting for my xplane to get here for my Linux box, meanwhile I have been playing around with Flight Gear. Not a graphic powerhouse by any stretch but one of the smoothest sims Ive flown in awhile, here is a screenshot that will never get entered into a contest ;D

I agree and the flight dynamics are programmed in well also....& its nice to have such high frame rates while flying...


I think those lights are intended to be street lights

Well i havent give it a go yet, but i sure should look at the code someday, I wonder why microsoft havent hired those people yet, if you can pull that off on a opensource project, just imagine what these people could do if given enough resources and money!
