I've seen this on a couple other forums, and I was wondering what you guys think.

Would certainly add a change... CoD4 was great, but now we more-or-less have 2 CoDs, Modern Warefare and everything else.

I think it would be a good idea. Modern is good, but then again a slightly less explored war would be interesting too.

I think a Vietnam COD would really be good now that destructible environments are possible.

It's a bit dated now.
But weren't CoDs 1, 2 and 3 good enough WW2 games?

Why would we ever settle for good enough?  I think it would be wicked!

I atill play Battlefield Vietnam, but the gameplay would be different with a Call of Duty game, and the multiplayer would be better to.

I would prefer something like, CoD: African Tribal Wars, where you have to fight bravely then cut off your enemies heads......
