I like the shot from Titan(?)... I can almost smell the methane. ;D

The surface of most landable planets and moons is just totally flat. You can't 'land' there as in landing a plane or spacecraft, it's like slewing in FS, or you can opt to move straight to the planet surface. But like I said it's flat and dull. You can look at the stars though - interesting on Earth to see how the night sky looks in different places.

I have a special package for Titan which adds, in 3 places, a small amount of relief, plus clouds. The modelling has been stuck on top of the existing sphere and it would have been better  if they'd modelled the whole thing i.e. sphere with even just that limited relief in my opinion. Maybe limited by the software.

Those balls look amazing with photoreal textures on them though....only FTX could tear me away from my pocket galaxy... :)


Once the gallery polls and JC Souichiro's done I'll update the Cage gallery again. I haven't forgotten. So hopefully there will be a few more posts - to keep me busy  :D
