A Wolf in Poland

Postby krigl » Sun Dec 23, 2007 4:53 pm

Finally got my butt out of "the Grand Canyon" in Xpand Rally, had to change car as the Lion wasn't cutting it.
My new ride: The "Wolf 516"  :)

Xpand Rally was made in Poland, and I have to say Poland looks rather nice in-game. The first track is on tarmac, and isn't too tricky once you get used to the completely different feel of driving on that surface. But the second track - what a nightmare - it alternates between rock-solid high-grip tarmac and slippy-slidey gravel...I wonder if I'll ever master it. And we haven't seen any ice or rain yet.. this game is HARD for me...anyway, here are two sets of the picturesque Polish countryside.

I remember the early reviews about this game, they were all enthousiastic, although i never heard a lot about it after that. something about the HL2 engine too. Not too sure though.
